Rugar
YHT received a call from some ladies who went to clean a house where the tenants had moved out. They spotted Rugar behind the house. He was tied to a tree with no food or water. Ruger was literally starving to death. His body mass score was a one, he was anemic and tested positive for tick fever. Bloodwork showed signs of parasites and he had an eye infection. Authorities found a container of dog food only 50 short feet from where he was suffering.
Ruger was taken in by a wonderful foster and was slowly nursed back to health. Over the months of loving care Ruger reached his ideal weight, his blood work came back normal and his dry unhealthy coat was replaced by a beautiful shiny coat. Rugar was adopted into a wonderful home and will be loved for the rest of his life.
